Ragged, incomplete copy: Spine is rough & cover detached, top of back cover missing. Pages have brittleness at corners. 

Centerfold missing, but Mr. Monster and Nelvana stories are complete. 

This is the first time Mr. Monster appears in costume. Doc Stearne, a recurring Canadian character was first called Mr. Monster in his previous appearance in Triumph Comics #31. 

The final appearance of Nelvana during the Golden Age. 

Though this numbered issue #3, it appears to be the only issue published, and unusual in that it has all-color Canadian content at a time when Canadian comic publishers had largely switched to reprinting U.S. comics.

TRUE CRIME COMICS #2 

CGC Apparent 4.5 (Moderate B-3)

Restoration includes: Color touch, pieces added, tear seals, reinforced.

The resto work is fairly visible in scans

The  front tear seals are above the R and U in TRUE, and have been color touched with yellow, and also on the reward poster with white c.t. There are a couple of small sealed and touched areas on back. 

The largest fill piece is at the bottom rt of the front cover, a 1" long triangular piece that looks like it may have been taken from a photocopy. There are smaller fill pieces at the other corners, front and back (very small at the top but with c.t.).

There is also a three quarter inch spine split at the top. 

This is an ideal crack out and read copy, as half the pleasure of owning this book is in the classic Jack Cole stories inside.
