5.5, c/ow, halo tanning insider covers.  held onto it after the jumbos past 20 went bye-bye, cuz of the slight off-register.   but it isn't really messed up enuff for me.

a 2.5 sold for $150 in april; let's say $300 here.  SOLD!

classic cover sighting!   headline 10--imo, the second best cover behind 11.  this is a 4.5 with ow/w pages.  that pull at the staple is the main disctraction.  a 4.0 sold for $299 in april--essentially the same price here.  $300.  SOLD!

i have all the crackajack owl covers, and the two populars, as well.   all but the 40 are raw.  have tried to upgrade into slabs, but the prices have gotten kinda crazy, and i lose every time.   so, i think i'll let 'em go.   but I'm lazy; if the slab doesn't sell, i figure the raws would be problematical.  so, here is a pretty owl book, for $475.  to give you an idea of them being hot, the only one to sell in '23 was a vg, for $176.  if it gets grabbed, i'll grade and price-up the other dozen or so.  SOLD!!
