Always liked this series. Frank gave Batman a great voice. Really brought him to the actual Dark Knight idea for me than ever before. You can really tell the effect this story has had on Batman stories after. Look at Batman the Animated Series and Justice League. A much different Batman than say the Superfriends Batman and that era. I grew up with the campy take on Batman so he never impressed me much before this story. I liked also how he showed Supes becoming a government lapdog. I think this series was great for its time. Read the sequel. It was just a pale shadow of the greatness of this story.

I hated it because that became the Superman template for the last 20 years.
