Guess the Grade: Wings Comics 76 2 2

Thought this would be a fun one. I bought this as a deslabbed book, and still have the label. Been meaning to send it back in for grading.

I’ll show the front of the label/grade after a handful of guesses.

I'll play.  Put 75% of my chips on 6.5 FN+ and 25% of my chips on 7.0 FN/VF.

6.5/7.0 seems an unoriginal guess, but here we are. I think the tanning has me thinking lower, but I never know with these older books.

Well seems to be all the takers. Here‘s the grade and notes:

Right Center Back Cover Foreign Rust Stain
Right Top Front Cover Small Tear Breaks Color
Top Back Cover Multiple Dent

How do they distinguish between foreign and domestic rust?  That seems a very lenient grade. I was firmly at 6.5 including a bump for GA.

Considering the back cover multiple dent I think I may try to press for the 8.5.

I think the lesson learned is ya’ll are some tough motha fricken graders 😂.
