1st appearance & origin of ROM Spaceknight.
NOTE: ROM the Spaceknight is a fictional character and cosmic superhero created by Scott Dankman, Richard C. Levy, and Bryan L. McCoy for Parker Brothers, currently a subsidiary of Hasbro.To build interest in the toy ROM, Parker Brothers licensed the character to Marvel Comics, which created a comic book featuring ROM the Spaceknight.
Direct edition: stripe through the UPC code - represented around 5% of total distribution at the time
