Star Splangled Comics 75 1947

I bought this Star Splangled Comics 75 White Pagy from a friend for 90 dollars, and this comic was part of Marcio Escoteiro's collection: the biggest Batman collector in Brazil and one of the biggest in the world. Looking at it, what grade would you give it? It's worth sending it to CGC and pressing it.

Cover appears detached or barely hanging on. Because of that combined with the other wear I think a 3.0 is best case scenario here . If the cover were firmly attached I could see as high as 4.0

As for whether it’s “worth it” to grade, you’d have to consider what a 3.0 sells for and determine if adding an additional $40-50 to do so is worth it on top of what you paid for it

But this one was part of Marcio Escoteiro's collection and still has white pages, so it's worth a lot more than a normal 3.0

Ola!  True, but the page quality has nothing to do with the grade.  Third party grading company will give it White Pages instead of the grade.

I agreed with Comicginger1789 about 3.0 for this book.   Overstreet Price Guide shows 2.0 = $74 and 4.0 = $148  for Star Spangled #75.  You bought it for $90 is about right.

So white pages don't increase the value?

Everyone tells me this, how do I get the COA?

The collector should make the COA.   Otherwise the dealer must purchase the whole collection and would make the COA.

You bought it without the COA.  I don't know who Marcio Escoteiro is.

O coletor deverá fazer o COA. Caso contrário o revendedor deverá adquirir toda a coleção e fará o COA.

Você comprou sem o COA. Não sei quem é Márcio Escoteiro.

Marcio Escoteiro had an immense collection that included comics from the most varied countries, toys, rare materials used in Batman television and film productions, he contributed his knowledge and material to various publications and events, with emphasis on Batman 80, even Ivan Reis provided tribute to him in DC 1027. He had between 6 and 7 thousand items in his collection, see report about the collection here: https://terraverso.com.br/especial-batman-80-anos-conheca-o-maior- collector-of-batman-items-in-brazil/

I'm a friend of the predecessor of Marcio Escoteiro's collection, how can he make the COA for this collection?

HI, I looked at my comic more closely today, and the cover is not detached or hanging badly. Is it worth sending then?
