Reyhann
So i recently received this xmen #94 in the mail and it got a small crack on the top of the slab! The book is pretty faded and I was just wondering if i were to reholder the book if i would receive a grade decrease. CGC seems to have acknowledged the fading in the graders notes but i’m just worried that they might decrease the grade. scburdet
Reholdering doesn't involve regrading unless the inner well is damaged Nilo2

pvdh
question - I am not a collector. I just recently went through my collection to from when I was a kid and found that I have x-men #92, #93, and #94. The value seems like it might be worth getting graded but I am curious if there is value related to having 3 in a row like that as well. I don't have much of a collection left - less than 30 comic books now and I'm not interested in keeping these. I just want to sell and move on. I saw this post on #94 and thought you might be good to ask.

If you’d be interested hit me up on instagram @nicholaseffrien and if you want to sell we can work something out! But no having 3 in a row generally doesn’t add to value and number 92 and 93 are NOT key issues!
LowGradeBronze
OP raises interesting point though, if I may take it on a speculative diversion: A 9.8 with no fading is left exposed to months of summer sun and suffers a bad fade to front cover. If sent in for a reholder, (let's say there's a crack,) would CGC return it in the original slab, stating that if they were to give it a new case, it would need to be regraded too? There's a SS available on ebay right now for $90K. Someone had it signed by Stan Lee, so it's a good candidate for the experiment.
