Wally Wood sex portfolio Prices at HA sold auctions all over the place. 1 1

Hi all,

So i have one Wally Wood 1977 sex portfolio 11 plates in my possession. It's super nice looking, signed on the first plate and numbered 1547/2000. I'd like to put it at auction at HA. i checked the Sold ones and this is what i found.

-One sale had only one illustration out of 11 sold in 2022 for 12 k.

Some have complete portfolios and they sold from 3k to 230 dollars.

What's the latin word for it... oh yeah... HUH ? I decided to come in here before asking the experts at HA.

The sales of $12K and $3K are original art pieces.

the much lower sales prices are for portfolios such as yours

So you're telling me that a signed and numbered portfolio is different from a 1 illustration from the same portfolio ? Exactly how ?

Yes.

You have a portfolio of prints.

The original art is the original artwork that the artist drew on paper that the print was later made from. Original vs reproduction.

right. gotcha. I catch on quick but you have to explain a long time. LOL
