Sniezyk
Does this appear to be restoration? When I hit the cover with a blacklight the corner gets darker, but I am uncertain. I appreciate the help.
LowGradeBronze
The blacklight is showing you something that wasn't on the book when printed, so yes, looks like amateur colour touch to me. Once revealed and you look again at the previous pics you can see the textured appearance of that corner. KCOComics and grendelbo

Lightning55
Looks like it has been touched up. Can you see any telltale bleed-through on the inside of the cover? KCOComics and grendelbo

KCOComics
I couldn't zoom in on the pictures without it getting blurry, but agree with everyone else. Check the inside front cover.
Sniezyk
The inside cover. I think maybe someone took a red ink pen or marker and maybe just touched the very corner. Not really sure why, it didn't need it. Edited December 10, 2023 by Sniezyk grendelbo
joeypost
Depending on what is used, all color touch does not bleed through. Without having the book in hand it might be a tear seal that was glued and colored in using crayon. That would be why there is no bleed through but the paper is darker on the inside of the cover in the affected area.
