PGM JIM 108 - impact of writing on cover
1 1

4 posts in this topic

This Journey into Mystery 108 has some writing on the cover, and I’m not sure how it would impact the overall grade.  I know that some types of writing, such as store stamps, do not result in much, if any, of a grade hit.  I’m not sure if this falls into that category.

thanks

I believe that is a handwritten received date b/c it looks like 7/64, which matches the release in July '64. It should not impact the grade with the overall condition of the book. I have found predicting yellow cover grades can be hard. They do a good job of hiding defects. 7.0/7.5 seems about right here though.
