Up next is a small group of adult sleaze from the 1960's. The Magenta Books are remaindered copies and feature either a sawcut through the top of the book or a hole punch on the front cover. For the most part, these are unread and tight copies with minor storage wear.

Magenta Books No. 102 - "Gin Mill Gigolo" by Guy Bennett, 1965.

I think Rod failed to save the government from being destroyed by LSD, among other things.

These are usually referred to as “thick books” by the older generations of collectors of genre fiction. They bridge the era from the dime novels and nickel weeklies to the pulps. They are digest-sized and mirror the pulps in printing quality, with slick covers pasted on cheaper wood pulp interiors.

I can post some individual scans later. I have several more besides the ones shown.

$10 each, or $40 for the lot as shown. The conditions vary, but all can be considered fragile by comic standards, and more in line with early pulps.

Here’s another group of six “thick books.” The condition again varies, but these are definitely on the more fragile side like earlier pulps and you’ll usually see some paper loss at the spines and along the edges.

$10  each - The Young Outlaw top row has been sold - or take the remaining five books for $35!
