Lot 1

The Life of Captain Marvel.  1-5  $15

The run averages VF, some better. 

This 1985 Deluxe series was part of the first generation of upscale reprints.  Priced at $2 when a regular Marvel was 50 cents, it didn't sell in large numbers.  Strange editing and bizarre coloring mistakes enhance the tale of Thanos and The Cosmic  Cube and as a bonus they reprint  issue 34 where Captain Marvel meets Nitro in an incident that eventually leads to the historic Death of Captain Marvel.

Nick Fury vs. Shield.  1-6  $20  VF/NM

The original Fury takes on SHIELD  in a deluxe mini-series.  This series offered a look at SHIELD never before seen in the Marvel Universe. 

Originally priced at $3.50 a book, it wasn't a top seller but demand has increased over time.

The first half of a 12 part limited series

Roy Thomas is doing what he does best: reviving historic characters.

Electra Assassin 1-8  $30  VF/NM

Frank Miller scripts and Bill Sienkiewicz surrealistically draws a strange tale that takes place after Electra's death. Rather controversial at the time.

Days of Future Past.   $20

Long out of print, this thin TPB reprints X-Men 141/142 with a new cover by Butch Guice.

X-Man 1-10   $10

Nice series from The Age of Apocalypse.   A mysterious man with amnesia joins a rag-tag residence made up of some very surprising people.

This segment of the classic X-men arc is less than half of the cover price.

Lot 7

Starstruck 1-6  $30

One of the best mini-series of all time, Mike Kaluta's art is mind-boggling.

A true treasure.
