Vault of Horror #28 (CGC 8.0 with off-white to white pages.) $950:$850

A ghastly Johnny Craig cover!

Outstanding centering, superb structure, bright, vibrant and fully saturated colors!

I doubt you’ll find a better looking 8.0 than this.

I recently had this graded.

An interested back story to this book. In the late 1980’s I discovered Redbeard’s Book Den. I was living in the SF Bay Area and Ron was living in Crystal Bay, NV- not that far away. Ron was early with posting comics online and that’s how I came to know about his books. From the late 1980’s to 1990 I purchased many books from Ron, mainly ECs and Silver Age Marvels.

It was always a pleasure to do business with Ron. Spot-on grading, super knowledgeable and always willing to share that knowledge.

This is one of the many ECs I bought from Ron. Adds a tiny bit of provenance.
