Atlas' wise cracking private eye, stories are filled with 1950s hipster slang. He falls hard for the beautiful woman in every case (usually to his detriment) and frequently resolves the case by putting a bullet in the bad guy, something for which he never gets any heat for, despite his sometimes adversarial relationship with the cops.
