I have a few slabs I want to list on ebay, but have no idea on what to charge for shipping. Any advice?

About 80-90% of my Ebay sales are to the USA.

The charge depends on a few things, including packaging, whether you have a business account with Canada Post, and how much you are paying for your boxes. I charge a flat rate of $25 to anywhere in North America even though it does not cover my shipping expenses because I know people will not pay more.

Here is a funny thing about shipping to the USA - because it is transferred to USPS a couple of our local charges do not apply, at least not in the same way, including the fuel surcharge and taxes. This leads to some bonkers situations. For example, one day about a month ago I had one box with a slab in it going to Hawaii and another same size box with a slab in it going to a city two hours down the road. Shipping to Hawaii cost me $24.12 and the one down the road cost me about $28. You will find stuff like this happening again and again.

In the past I used to hate orders from the USA, but now I love shipping down there because I save so much in shipping costs (mean avg approx $3.50 per shipment for me).

Yeah I've been selling stuff on ebay for a few years and never could understand why shipping domestically cost more.

If you don't mind me asking, what type of boxes do you use for shipping single slabs? Assume you use $25 flat rate boxes for Canada, but what do you pack US bound slabs in?

I do not use flat rate boxes. Too flimsy for my liking.

I buy my boxes from U-Line. The model number I use is S-22186, and I include 5 sheets of packing paper (3 on the bottom, 2 on top) from Dymon Storage per box. There are cheaper options, but doing it this way I can roll a box down the stairs and the slab inside will be perfectly fine. That peace of mind is worth a couple extra bucks to me.

You can just prepack the slab, measure /weigh the box and just put the dimensions into the ebay boxes when filling out your auction.  There is a way that it can be automatically calculated by whoever is looking at your listing.

I also want to know about it and for that I am searching for it online and it makes me so happy when I found your post. I wanted to play casino games for a long time, but due to the high deposit money, that seemed impossible for me, guess what? yesterday, I found a website that, reviews the casino's sites, and on behalf of their reviews they created a list of them and there I found this https://casinosanalyzer.ca/low-deposits/1-dollar-deposit-casino list of the casino sites, where the minimum deposit money was only 1$. thank you so much casinosanalyzer. with your help now I can also gamble with a minimum of 1$. If you are also new and need A site that only takes a minimum deposit of one then you can visit them.

Thanks for the info, I will keep it in my mind.

Edit: It is helpful for me, you made my day. I appreciate you for helping me out.
