Because they changed the text color on the cover for each (well, for most) of the new printings, and this book has been reprinted a whooooole lot of times.

You can take a peek at sold prices on ebay to get an idea of price differences on printings (colors).

This book was truly succesfull so they had to reprint it several times... By luck your not looking about the really recent trends with comics variants
