Superman #2 9.2 on Heritage

I was the underbidder on this book... I don't think movie hype pushed up the price. Nice book that probably would have gone for more if it hadn't sat on the Heritage preview for so long... Sometimes, I've wondered why Heritage "shows" the book for so long as the surprise kinda wears off. (like a house that sits on the market.) There was more excitement for the book when it was first graded, but my interest wanned for some reason. The final price is right in line with the expected (per Rob React's prediction) as a #2 9.0 went for $35K 6 months ago. I am not sure who won it as I didn't experience the live auction. I doubt it was a dealer/ speculator. As nice as the book is, I don't see a lot of upward movement on it. I guess time will tell.
