Been going to Heroes in Campbell, California for more than 20 years.  Once in a while they have a nice $1 bin section with very nice books in there.   I guess they want to clear out their drek inventory, so they offer a fill up your short box for $40.  I can't think of any better deal than this.  This is as good a garage find.  Bagged and boarded.  lots of good reading material for 0.25 cents a book.  Any boardies have similar stories?  I use to live up in the Sacramento area and A1 comics use to have nice $1 bargain bins section.

There used to be a store, here in Vegas, that did the fill a short/long box.  I used to get some good books out of it.  Seemed like most people that dug thru the boxes picked newer stuff and by passed the copper/bronze and occasional silver age books.  More for me!

I once filled a long box at Heroes of VF/NM to NM+ bronze priced at $5-$10 @ 40% off.  I miss those days.
