Good evening,

I am looking to see the boards opinion if this is a legit Venom Lethal Protector #1 Black Cover Error. I have been researching on the boards and the internet and appears this may be. If any new pictures or angles are needed please let me know.

Some info I found:
Counterfeits have a Marvel logo in upper-left hand corner that is made to appear like a normal unaffected logo. Genuine misprints have a logo that is an obviously errored blue box/squared logo, but you can still make out the "Marvel Comics" impression with some. Genuine copies also have some of the red laserfoil intended to be printed on the cover still there, but it will differ from issue to issue. The "Lethal Protector" text may not be visible on all copies. Counterfeits have an all black background.

Thanks, I did see that and I saw some similar CGC copies on ebay. It looks legit, may just need to cgc it.

At the con I went to 2 weeks ago, I couldn't believe the prices these were going for! A gold 9.0 for $400 and a black 8.0 for like 2k!

I hadn't kept track in a long time, as it always spoke to me as something to be found in the wild. As now time has passed lol I'd probably have to pay up for it!
