Can CGC CS assist? USPS Sarasota

Hello,

Posted this in another part of the forum and was asked to post here. Basically I use USPS for my return shipping for my graded submissions since they go back to my PO Box. I feel it's more secure than FX just dropping off my returns without a signature at my front door. So CGC shipped my submission 4416853 on May 23rd. It's been "Shipment Received, Package Acceptance Pending" with USPS Sarasota since then with no updates. Is there anything CGC CS can help on their end?

Hello @Vrishnak, thank you for contacting us. Hope you are doing well! I would be happy to help with your inquiry. The "ready for pick-up" message from USPS is a common error we see when a package is delivered, but the carrier misses the last scan. All packages are delivered by USPS directly to our offices, and we do not pick up any deliveries. 

Let me also share what happens when we receive your package. Carrier tracking may indicate that your submission has been received at our office; however, it can still take some time to reflect within our online submission tracking. All packages received move into an intake process where the contents are inventoried and compared against the submission form as validation before moving forward into the grading process. Should there be any discrepancy encountered with an item itself, a missing or extra item, or any other concern for that matter, our customer service team will reach out for clarification accordingly.

Please note the intake process can take upwards of 7-10 business days before the order will reflect within online submission tracking. This period is accounted for in the overall estimated turn-around time displayed at the point of the submission. If your box was labeled on all sides with "WK" for Walkthrough tier submissions, then it should be opened up sooner, usually within 1 to 3 days. 

If you have not already, you can confirm that we have scanned your package as received with the "Confirm Package Delivery" field HERE.

Hello @KaileeS CS,

I appreciate the response, but this is not about a shipment to CGC. It's about a graded submission being shipped back to me via USPS which they collected from your team on the 23rd of May and has been in the above status since then. With CGC being the shipper, I thought perhaps you can contact USPS Sarasota and see if it's possible for them to get this moving.

I went to the post office and the po filed a missing mail report got my packages in 4 days.

Something you may want to try.

Tried that just now online and the website says I can only file a missing mail report once it's moved on from Pending package acceptance.

CGC are you able to reach out to or speak with your local USPS Sarasota team if there's an off chance this return is still at their facility? We're now at a week and it's still just showing no movement from Sarasota. @JuliaJ CS @KaileeS CS.

I now have 2 returns in this status. One from May 23rd, 1 from May 29th. Two more are in grading, but I called CS today to move them to FedEx even though I don't trust their service I can't gofor week(s) on end with no transit updates.

The submission from the 23rd is still showing in Sarasota with the above original status. However the larger shipment that was returned to me on the 29th has updated. I'm thinking since the 23rd return was one book it was easier to misplace. I'm going to talk to my local PO today to see if there's anything they can do on their end.

The submission from the 23rd is still showing no updates in transit. It has not moved from Package Received, Pending Package Acceptance in Sarasota. Again this is a graded submission being RETURNED from CGC back to me.
