Q.N.S.
I'm talking about strong, cut thinly, totally clear and minimalist tape, on the back not front. Like, along the tear, on inside on front or back covers, not visible, or nicely done light spine split repair, etc. CGC's grading of tape is harsher than had been the mainstream view. Any opinions on when if ever tape is justifiable or even better than not? Overstreet still allows minor unobtrusive tape all the way up to VG in rare cases, but lower is common. I find myself in situations where tape application is good for the book but sometimes I hesitate thinking if its ever sent to CGC it might zoomline to 1.8. Edited June 8 by Q.N.S.
