kcm54
So, I have a pile of 80's limited series (Watchmen, V for Vendetta, etc) that were printed on "Baxter" paper with heavy covers. THe problem is that each and every one of them has a white color-breaking crease down the length of the spine. I'm told this is a manufacturing issue, but maybe not every book is like this? How is an otherwise perfect book of this type graded? I've only ever got one back (9.6). Is 9.8 possible with that crease?

From what I remember, 9.4 or 9.6 would likely be the most common grade given for books with that type of flaw...
kcm54
Hmmm. I read that the flaw is created when the fold the cover to put it on the book. RockMyAmadeus and tonytitan
tonytitan
flashback to the great New Teen Titans baxter series the color was much better but the spines were different so far in my own sending into cgc those comics i have not gotten back a 9.8 yet. but my sample size is not large enough to really shed light. but in my thinking people dont realize how hard it is to get a 9.8 comic book.
