Doctor Doom vs Iron Man? 0

As for WHY he calls himself Doctor. Putting aside the obvious answer that comic book creators LOVE alliteration....it is because Reed is a doctor. Doom adopting it accurately reflects his burning desire to be seen as superior to Reed - but since there isn't a higher honour above that he will just take what Reed has as his own, thus lessening Reeds status overall. 

But isn't 'king' higher than a Doctor label, I hear you ask? Yes but royalty is inherited, education is earned. Doom would never want to be associated with a title simply given to him. I guarantee that, if there were a title he could earn that was superior to that of a doctor, he'd set himself on a path toward earning it immediately just to prove he is better not only than Reed Richards, but everyone else as well.
