incomplete, spine entirely split.

Technically a PR due to the entire spine being split, with both covers detached, and the centerfold missing (effects Unknown Soldier story), but pretty nice presentation of the classic cover, which is why this book is in such demand. The next wrap after the missing cf is detached, and has tears along the edge from where it was sticking out of the book.

Published by O Globo, these war era Golden age reprinting U.S comics (in B/W) often had original covers that rivaled the better U.S. GA covers of the era. 

Fat GA sized book - 100 pages inc. covers with Subby, Capt. Marvel and Black Hood stories (among others) translated into Portuguese.

Johnny Dynamite lot!

The most hardboiled comic book private eye of the 1950s, stories include drugs, prostitution, torture and plenty of shootings, including Johnny getting his eye shot out in his second appearance.  Great art by the under appreciated Pete Morisi. The violence is toned down in the Charlton post-code issues, and Johnny becomes more of an international commie fighter than a standard P.I.   Pete Morisi art in the first two Charlton issues.

This lot includes all his 1950s appearances except Foreign Intrigues #15, his last appearance, and also includes a low grade Mexican version of some of his Charlton stories. I'll also throw in the 4 issue Dark Horse mini-series from 1994.
