MichaelMarks749
I’ve been collecting comics for a bit but never graded any and I’m thinking of grading my spider-man 1 news stand in poly bag but I don’t know if I should send it like it is or take it out and if I do send it will there be something to indicate that it was in the original poly bag? Cman429
CGC doesnt grade polybagged books in the bag. They ask you to remove it from the bag before sending it in or it gets rejected. And they might note “polybagged edition” on the slab notes but they’re not going to write “item was removed from original polybag by owner”
marvelmaniac
Poly bagged books may have a crease on the back cover from the seam of the bag. For me, keeping the book in the polybag would be my choice, that is how it came and if everyone removes them from the bag... https://rarecomics.wordpress.com/2021/03/23/spider-man-1-1990-newsstand-variants-versus-the-rest/ jcjames

I cannot really answer that since I do not have my books graded. If you are requesting C&P service with CCS, I would let them do it all, unless you are interested in keeping the bag, then remove it before shipping and take clear/sharp pics of the book before sending it in. https://www.cgccomics.com/about/help-center-faqs/cgc-grading/collectibles-accepted-by-cgc/#:~:text=Does CGC certify sealed poly, customer's permission to do so. https://www.cgccomics.com/pressing/ jcjames
