Book 8 -- Avengers #38:
According to the grade distribution Mike just reported, only 13% of player guesses were bulls-eyes, and the mean, mode, and median player guesses were 8.9, 9.0, 9.0 -- a full two grade increments lower than the CGC grade.  Hence, I think it's reasonable to say that CGC's 9.4 was a gift. 

Book 10 -- Conan #8:
According to the grade distribution Mike just reported, only 5% of player guesses were bulls-eyes, and the mean, mode, and median player guesses were 9.0, 9.2, 9.2 -- two to three grade increments lower than the CGC grade.        Hence, I think it's reasonable to say that CGC's 9.6 was another gift.     

And that orange ink on the front and back covers of Book 7 (Adventure Comics #235) is quite unlike any "distributor ink" I've ever seen (and I began buying comics off the rack in 1959).    Not complainin'.  Just sayin'.

Given those were my two bullseyes this round, I would have to respectfully disagree and conclude that everyone else is completely wrong. 

Clearly, the books were graded appropriately.
