If you had a silver age Key:  it’s a blue 0.5.  You have slab parts of the 2 missing parts for this book.  Would you leave it alone and keep it as is or would you marry it?  The coupon can be easily located..

I've heard Hero Restoration does good work. (too soon?  )

I actually bought a $10k book from him about 12 years ago.   All of my pressings have been directly at cgc with good results $$$

The Doctor makes a good point above regarding the value of the resulting married book, but from the purely personal angle, if it were me I'd like to hold a complete AF15 in my grubby little fingers. However, since your back cover is missing the coupon, I would not separate the existing front/back covers from each other in order to introduce the back cover that has the coupon. That's a step too far in my eyes. I'd add the page, but not mess with the cover.

I was faced with the same situation with my former copy. It was missing an ad page, which I found. I decided not to crack my .5 slab, and just offered the page with the book when I sold it. The boardie who bought it from me planned to do the same.

These days, the CGC probably wouldn't detect the marriage in the first place.

I was actually imagining a real marriage, with nuptials and all.

I was gonna say...say "I do"...LOL.  One idea if you crack it out, put the intact back cover with the coupon inside the original back cover and at least for visual/fun purposes it will look like it has the coupon...doesn't alter the book so it's a "no harm, no foul" (not sure if CGC would re-slab it that way (shrug) )

I have the same situation. A .5 AF15 missing the back cover, but i have a matching back cover.

I've ultimately decided against marrying them together, and when I sell it,  I'll sell it with the back cover.

For my book,   it's a likely a 1.0 Green Label vs .5 Blue label and it didn't feel worth the time and energy.

Ultimately, I would like to upgrade it to a complete one some day.
