Let's the discount things beside.

Fun facts:

Back in 2003, Detroit Tigers nearly broke the record for the most losses in one season but they won last three games and they finished with 43-119 record.   They avoided the history.

In playoff spots:

Chicago White Sox has 39-120 record with three games left and will be at Detroit Tigers' home.   Tigers are still in the playoff hunt.

Baltimore Orioles (88-71) lead 3 games over Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers (both are at 85-74) and Minnesota Twins (82-77).  It looks like that Chicago White Sox is more likely to lose one game in that final series.  They may be the history.

The White Sox collapse over the last couple of years has been a sight.  Bad management, bad ownership, untimely injuries ... it's been a perfect storm of ineptitude.  Detroit has been one of the best teams in the majors since the All-Star Break, and if the Sox manage to avoid holding the record on their own, it would be a minor miracle.

Will there be another discount tied to their game tonight?  Possibly ... but don't wait to grab books now, lol! :baiting:  (Or make me an offer privately -- I'm as easy to work with as the White Sox are to beat in a game lol ).
