Don't know if this qualifies but it is art and it is original.Comic art is up for debate but the subject matter kinda fits in.

It's rather large at around 2x3 feet.My brother in law found it years ago and when he had to move awhile back he gave it to me.Odd thing is,it's done on a piece of tanned leather. Also unsigned.

Hi all,

I'm new(er) to posting here, so I'll put up a few things I got recently...

I have a few more things in my comic art gallery, but I'm mostly collecting Transformers artwork, though I may be interested in other things as you could see if you went to the gallery. ;)

I really like the bar piece as it's really "unrealistic" but a bit playful. I do enjoy it for the characters.

Bought this one on eBay the other week for the modest sum of £90 . . .

Splash page to a weekly episode of THE SPIDER storyline, "The Spider v the Sinister Seven", illustrated by Reg Bunn.

This was a UK series and the artwork is dated for March 16, 1968.

Artwork has a large image size of 19" x 15".

Interestingly, SUPERMAN creator Jerry Siegel is credited as being the scriptwriter for this series.

These aren’t from NYCC but I haven’t updated in a while so…

Added pieces by Hal Foster, Neal Adams, James Jean and others. You can see my CAF gallery for the highlights here:

and as usual all my pieces are on my website (including those “smaller” pieces I don’t want to clutter CAF with).

Howdy,

For over 25 years, Neal Adams has been my favorite comic artist, even before I

was really conscious of the creators behinds the comics. Once I was a more

sophisticated comic collector, I pursued lots of the the Adams books, both

Marvel and DC, especially X-Men and Deadman, but it was Deadman that I always

found to be the most individually striking. (it goes without saying the Kelly

Jones restyling was patently awful, IMO :o )

Finally, I have a piece of published comic art worthy of my obsession, Neal

over Neal, and a page that has been off the market for quite some time, if it

ever was.

oh, and I also got a Russ Heath G. I . Combat page. Nothing earth shattering

there, but GCD says it's all Russ, and I"m thinking it's someone else's inks,

and it's really bothering me. I have my suspicions, but there's other War Horses

around here that might know for sure. (shrug)

I remember a little while ago, there was some discussion of whether it was preferable to pick up the pencils or inks of any particular page, assuming they're available separately. At the time, it seemed obvious to me that you should go for the pencils. The first time I actually ran into the issue though, I could make up my mind and wound up getting both.

Supergirl #32, page 17, by Ron Randall:

Here is a double page splash from Avengers vs New Ultimates 5. I just got this today.

Nothing like having Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and a little Spidey all in one page.

This page is original inks, but the value is no issue to me. Inks look better hanging on my wall, and the inker is a legend-in-the-making in Philippine comics as a publisher, creator, writer, artist, and historian.

I wrote a more detailed description to the art here where you can also view it:
