For all the vaunted Girl Power BS that Marvel and Disney spews out, I would have expected them to handle Black Widow and Marvels with a lot more respect to the female characters - and I'm not sure they've learned any lessons with this new effort. I can write off Marvels simply as casting aside the possibilities of a solo Carol Danvers move in favor of a larger cast - but the Black Widow film was a gigantic insult, not only to the Natasha comic character, but an insult to how ScarJo built that character up into someone interesting - only to have those efforts dropped on the floor like a loaded diaper.

I like Scarlet Witch, but even with her own series, I don't think she's got the same level of depth as Captain Marvel or Black Widow. It's close, but not quite there - I like how the character is portrayed, but I'd much rather see a reworking of the other two over SW.
