Looks Like A Fake Kirby Signature To Me

I reported it as suspicious fake based on the message from the seller.

But as we know, in those days books were signed on page 1 using ballpoint pens.  Plus who pays to get a worthless book signed?  Looks more like someone was practicing and got one they thought looked passable.  

What do you think?  Will eBay act on it?

It would be unusual to have a Kirby marker signature that was obtained from the 60's. Kirby typically signed comics on the first page (as you stated) and it was also in ballpoint pen (you stated that as well). Does anyone even have a signed book from the 60's using a marker? 

To me, the signature is very suspect. I really don't like the curve of the 'J'. 

I have no opinion on what eBay will do, but I would stay away from that signature.
