E-Bay - What do those auction titles really say?

2 posts in this topic

OK I'm feeling scurrilous. I'm finding the dross I have to wade through on eBay is chiselling away at my soul, so I'm implementing a new filter. Please feel free to add choice examples...

"Rare!!" - it's a print.I've got 10 of them

"Sexy" - I traced this from Penthouse with my left hand.

"SexXxY!!!" - I've not seen a nude lady. Here's what I imagine they look like.

"Must Have! - Please buy this, oh please!!

"L@@k!" - As opposed to "Avert your eyes from this listing"

"Calvin and Hobbs" - It's a fake

"Snoopy" - It's a fake

"Limited print" - Limited to as many as my inkjet can pump out.

"By published artist" - You haven't heard of me.

Nick's eBay Maxims

1. The quality of an auction is inversely proportional to the number of exclamation marks in the title and description.

2. Run from anything with a female filmstar name in the title.
