What makes you think pressing caused those stains?

 

I bought a small bronze ASM lot 140-149 and they appear that they may have been pressed there is red stains on the cover and back cover and also on the inside of the covers. If these books are pressed would that give them a restored grade by CGC?

Looks like an ink transfer from long term stacking. I'm betting this comic came from a warehouse find. EBay seller Calm-mix's distributor stash sometimes show the same staining...

Exactly. I've had at least three copies of ASM#149 over the last five years that all had those red stains. I guess they must have all been pressed by the same guy.
