This is one of my altime favourite books and I wanted a slabbed copy. Should I slab this one or just try and find on on eBay?

 

also, does anyone know when the census is supposed to be updated?

To give you a better idea, the scan needs to be larger and you need a back cover scan. That should make easier to determine grade and whether it should be slabbed or not.

from the looks of it I would say it is at least a 9.2 probably 9.4/9.6 BUT I agree with timulty on this one -those scans are too small to tell for sure!!! It doesn't cost a fortune to slab a few moderns so maybe you should send it in and find out what they think!
