This is another book i bought slabbed by CGC and have cracked open.

What do you think CGC graded it? What would you grade it?

CGC has rated the pages as cream to off-white

pages are clean with no creasing -page 14 has a rough right edge-visible in scan of back cover

both covers have tanning along the interior edges

book is tight & solid

universal label

And Dan, yes the top staple and the wear along the very edge of the spine concern me too (together with the obvious tanning)

There definitely is some wear at the staple including some minor tearing -no doubt about that Dan! But it is still soundly attached(thankfully!) and as long as it remains in my care it should stay that way!

Wow. Not one of us came up with a 5.0. Well, still gets a 6.0 from me.

Looks like the top staple damage threw the grade on this book, but its still gorgeous.
