How much would you deduct for moderate overall tanning?

Cream to O/W pages; light tanning visible on FC and BC, but moderate tanning to perimeter of both inside covers. Otherwise great looking book. Please give me your thoughts on how much tanning affects your grade 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

I've had a couple of "toasted" books graded by CGC, and they typically take off a couple of grading units for browning along the edges of the interior covers (what I call "halo"). The first ASM 14 I ever owned was a VF/NM to NM- book structurally, and when the dealer I sold it to had it slabbed it garnered an 8.0 owing to the edge tanning. I'd think it would take your 8.0 down to a 7.0 or so, but the precise deduction depends on the severity of the browning.

And remember, as Freddy used to say: "Keed Spills!"
