Guess the CGC grade! Fantastic Four 156

Sold to me as a raw NM+.

My pre-grade = 9.4 due to one crease on spine across from Doc Doom's elbow.

 

Photobucket cropped the front cover scan a little, but it was below the book so I went with it.

 

That's fuzz on the A on the front cover.

Five cleanings and I still couldn't get the scanner 100% lint free.

 

Are the scans looking OK?

Big and clear enough for you to bid on for eBay (if you wanted said book)?

I'm still getting use to the new scanner.

This high res scanner picks up every speck of dust with it's 11,000KB default setting size scans at 200dpi. When I shirnk them down to 400-500KB for Photobucket the specks go but any fuzz or a tiny white cat hair doesn't.

 

I put links to larger scans in my ASM 252 thread if you missed them, but they were seven posts down cause some people were quick on the reply button.

With that small spine ding but the otherwise great edges and corners, I'd personally consider this book NM. CGC hates that kind of ding, however, and I wouldn't be surprised if they graded this book a 9.2.

I agree, nice book. Who cares what they graded it - it's a 9.4 in my book

looks like a 9.2 book to me, with potential for 9.4, depending on how bad that CBC looks in real life.

Lovely book. Why get a book like that slabbed? On any given day it could get anywhere from a 9.2-9.6.

Agree with others that you sound disappointed. I'll say 9.2. Very nice book, though. I have a #153 that I'll likely send in, a probably 9.4.
