Wow... unbelievable stuff.

 

I'm surprised to read that he thinks that Weird Science Fantasy 29 is the ultimate Frazetta illustration. I'll simply never understand the fervor for that cover. That wouldn't even make my top 10 or 20.

DocDave has opened the vault and put many of his Frazetta gems up for viewing on the CAF site. I strongly encourage all comicart fans to take a few minutes and revel in Frazetta's artwork!

Pardon me...I have to go look for my comic art collection it just shrunk up to microscopic size after seeing Doc Dave's pieces.... 893whatthe.gif

 

Some of those pieces gave me actual physical pain they are so good.
