Thumb creases

Sorry for my sophmoric question:

 

So I got an Avengers 167 1st Taskmaster the other day. Only spent like $3.00 on it. But it has thumb creases in the center of the book.

 

It looks like someone quickly thumbbed through the pages and the creases were left. Is this a huge grade deduction?

 

Thanks again for your help and bettering my understanding of comics!
