Archie's Madhouse #22 - cover scan anyone?

12 posts in this topic

Always wanted to see what the cover looks like to this one. Gerber only has issues #1-4, and the issue is conspicuously absent from the Great Comics Database.

Why is any image of the first appearance of Sabrina The Teenage Witch so hard to find?

I know one of the Archie collectors on the boards can help! I just know it!

It's not a very exciting cover. If no one's posted it by the time I get home, I will scan it for you thumbsup2.gif

Not if I beat your first! Let me know if you want a copy; I have no interest in mine. I think it's at least a VG.

Thanks Shield! I'd buy the VG copy from you but there's something I gotta save my money for on eBay right now... If I lose that auction and 143ksk doesn't want it, I'll PM you for the price! So happy you posted this!

I already have a VG/FN copy so don't worry about me. Are you planning on making a cover for it? If so, the splash from the first story would work nicely. I'd love to see what you can do with it.

The Western Penn copy is a ton nicer than mine, so I'm glad you saved that scan from the auction (which, by the way I should have bid higher on frown.gif)

What did The Western Penn copy go for anyway?

It's funny... This thread is perhaps the only place you can find an image of this cover online. Not only is it absent (as of 1/31/06) at GCD and in The Photojournal, but it's not on the Heritage, Mile High, New Kadia or Metropolis sites. The Wikipedia article on Sabrina doesn't have it, nor does her page at The Great Cartoon Database or on Archie's web site. It's not on eBay or on Comic Link, or any one of the numerous other sites featuring comic cover scans. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif
