Renewed interest in MONSTERS

With MARVEL putting out the recent issues with the old monsters FIN FANG FOOM, Son of Goom, Gorgilla and others. And now new hard cover books of reprints of Tales To Astonish issues #1 through #10. Is there some kind of new interest in the old monsters of the 50's?

I suppose it's possible. Interests in genre are after all cyclacle.

Fing Fang Foom is in the first issue of Nextwave.

There has definitely been a new interest. Exiles had a mini-arc on Monsters. In October, Marvel had a few books out specifically to monsters. Kelley has a monster monster-killer book. I agree, genres are cyclic and it's time for the resurgence of this one.

That's right. Mark McKenna was selling a great page of Fing Fang Foom from that issue.

That's pretty cool. I thought the arc was a bit fun. I mean, Krakoa versus Fin Fang Foom. I'm all about it.
