Comic Stores in London and Paris?

25 posts in this topic

The best comic store in London for sheer variety of interesting stock is "30th Century Comics" - but it's a bit off the beaten tracks. There's a web-site here

All the Central London ones are largely along the same theme - you can do the walk in 15 minutes starting at Gosh (pretentious high-brow), down to Comicana (stuffed but dingy), down to FP (disinterested and corporate) and finally to Comic Showcase (squalid and drafty)... then finish with a slap-up tea at Piccadilly and an evening at the Hard Rock Casino... hey, there's no better way to spend a Saturday... tongue.gif

Thanks for your usual PR job there, Ewan. tongue.gif

You own/work at one of those stores?

Nope. They're just nicer than the impression Ewan has given, that's all - although FP is corporate...

I would agree with that although i have been to a few stores in the States and i wasn't that impressed. I guess it's just comic stores in general. They all suck, with the exception of a few. Still, i don't know where Ewan got the idea 30th Century is the best in London! 27_laughing.gif

I've never actually been to 30th Century, dammit. Should make the effort.
