E-Bay Curiosity - Edgar Church Magazine Collection???

Hey Gang -

I was doing a search for "mile high" on e-bay when I came across this seller's curious listings offering magazines

purported to have been owned by Mr. Church, including magazines from the 1980's. Strange, no? This is how they're

described in the listing...

 

 

Reference book owned by Edgar Church! Part of a small collection of art & photo magazines from the collection of Edgar Church,

the original owner of the "Mile High Collection" of comic books. Edgar was an artist and had many magazines in his files for use as reference for his artwork. Comes with verification from Mile High Comics as to provenance. Very good condition.

I thought I heard somewhere that there were mags ( I may be mistaken) but obviously not after the collection was found. Does anyone know when Edgar passed away?
