I came across this auction of a Golden Age Classic (Batman DetectiveComic #36)

Nice book..I wouldn't say anywhere close to a fine...but looks like a solid very good...in which case the price is a little high ...I just stink when it comes to telling if a book has had restoration or not...that would be my only reserve....by the way...did you see that copy of detective #1 that sold about a week ago...hard book to find.

TEC 1 stephen fishler from metroplois comics nabbed it.

it was cgc graded .5..real low cause it was missig one wrap I think....still pulled in $3,000.00.

wow - i've NEVER seen that book up for sale.

 

that book didn't show up on my searches - seller shoulda put it in the golden age category cause i usually never search platinum age

It's not CGCed. Any book not CGCed has absolutely NO value and should be considered restored. Anyone found to be selling unslabbed books should be barred from Ebay.
