Sorry, a noob question, I'm sure..........I see you all talking about 35 cent variants all of the time, whats the deal?? Are there certain issues that came out with different prices? Is anything with a 35 cent price a keeper?

Variant collectors are the "dregs" of the collecting community. A strange lot; surly, swarthy, and crass, that seem to also have an affectation for "Cherry Pop-Tart's" and other pornographic materials. Stay far away from them as some of them carry the dreaded "Purple Smurf" rabies syndrome that is easily transferable through a simple bite (sometimes called a "GNAP"). Once bitten, you will never be cured and will plunk down large amounts of cash on low grade crapola, just because it has a different price in the box!

Explanation - some issues that were 30 cents also had some copies that said 35 cents instead. And for this reason, people pay hundreds of dollars more for those copies, where the price has a 5 instead of a zero. 893frustrated.gif Wow. 893frustrated.gif

It is a sickness and the only cure is a complete set...
