It is one of the all time great covers.

So what rank do you predict it'll have in the SA contest then?

smart alec. makepoint.gif Actually every FF cover could have been nominated. I love the FF but am glad not all of them got nominated. That would stretch the vote too thin.

Had the nominations remained open, they would have nominated every Spidey, Thor, and FF possible.

And deep down I wouldn't blame them, but to be practical limits need to be in place. (at some point).

Is FF 48 a great cover? Sure. The crowd is starring at something unknown.

It makes you curious.

And even though Kirby did a great job on that lamp post, his cover to FF 72, 4, 33, 55, and 61 are better, in the favorites category.

Now story wise 48 is near the top of all FF.

Of course anythings better than a cover where the old Flash gets his useless helmet knocked off.
