Hello all!

Well, I am sitting in my hotel suite with my soon to be wife...

Yes I got engaged tonight!!!

Now I can feel OK about spending a bunch on comics at the show smile.gif

We are sitting here watching Catwoman on HBO... how fitting!

I will be sure to post all the highlights of the show and forum dinner tomorrow night smile.gif I will also be sure to take pictures of the "PGX Team" insane.gif

Seattle is great as always. We are looking forward to going for some seafood with some fellow comic geeks tomorrow night!

Stay tuned...

And your wasting time on the computer in your room with your new fiance?

Congrats......

My words exactly!!! Get off these Da mn boards and do something!!!!

Thanks guys! smile.gif

And I only came on about 1.5hrs AFTER she fell asleep thumbsup2.gif

So, first day proved to be quite succesful. I purchased a very nice lot of Golden Disney's, including the first Barks issues. I also picked up some large lots of uncirculated books... some HG sweeties! Included are: Shazam #1, Shadow #1-7, SHEILD #1-2 and some others. Swamp thing was on the list of books to buy and I got a few. Also grabbed a decent copy of Marvel Spotlight #2 (actually 2 I think). A Punisher Bowen Mini Bust (with beard! recalled), a variant Spawn figure and a couple of the McFarlane Dragons for the wife.

I met with Steve B and he was quite friendly! It was my first show in 15 years and I got the escort for the first 45mins. he introduced me to a few of the notable dealers and made me feel right at home. A stand up guy! Thanks Steve smile.gif I left a run of X-men 95-120 with him to get graded. Here's hoping on at least a couple of 9.8's!!!

So, now it's off to MacCormick and Shmick's Seafood restaurant to talk shop...

I have quite a few pictures and will post some tonight...

Greggy, I look for some 100 pagers tomorrow smile.gif The ones I saw today wouldn't make your grade! BTW... thanks for the tip wink.gif

I kind of feel bad for not going to the con, especially for it being in my own backyard. Just spent too much money on bass guitars recently. foreheadslap.gif

I guess I'm just stockpiling my comic time for the upcoming San Diego Con.

Sorry Ray!!!

I was out to lunch and was only there for an hour or so. i did all my buying yesterday and it was the wife's turn today! And she wasn't buying comics!!!

The show was a great success for me. I got to meet some great people and bought some great books! I look forward to Toronto and being back in my original neck of the woods! The ball is rolling!!!

Strange thing about PGX, they (he) wasn't there today confused-smiley-013.gif. He didn't look to good when he was there! I think he knows the end may be near juggle.gif

Anyways, got some great pictures! Will start to post tomorrow when I get back to the home base.

Johnny-

It was great meeting you and Laura, I really enjoyed your company! thumbsup2.gif Also, congratulations again!

Seattle was a good show for us and when you have old school, die hard collectors like Steve Sibra, Dave King, Dave Melvin, Steve Bialick, Michelle Nolan and a few others there, it is just a great time!

We really have the best hobby!!!!!! yay.gif

Steve,

The pleasure was all ours! We had a great time as well and couldn't have asked for more from my first show in 15 years! The dinner venue was fantastic and we met some really cool people! Too bad we won't be seeing you in Toronto!

I've finally gotten around to posting some pictures. I will be mailing out a disc with all of the ones that were taken, for now, here's a taste!

Here's Lara and I outside the show:
