What are your goals this year in your comic collection?

Duck goals:

 

1) To track down a VF or better copy of Four Color 178...same goal as last year. frown.gif

2) To pick up a few choice VF/NM Four Colors

3) To finish reading all of Barks' Donald Duck stories.

 

EC goals:

 

1) To work toward completing my run of Weird Science.

2) To start a run of Weird Fantasy.

I have no goals or focus, i see something that interests me, i buy it. really bad thing when i see the multiples of some issues. I really need to thin out the dupes and focus.

 

Would like to finish Captain Marvel run (the kree guy)

Land some great SS books- starlin, moore, adams, kitson, byrne, perez to name a few

Work on silver age x-men.

continue to buy tons of [embarrassing lack of self control] i dont need.

the appetite isn't their yet (no $$$ and the project of a baby for the near future tells me to hold future buyings instead of selling mid/long therm and regretting it), but the love and passion for them is here to stay!!!

just enjoying what i own, re-reading some all time favs. and focusing on my new found geekness, the classic marvel lead figurine (which is shapping greatly!!!) cloud9.gif

My Plans Before I turn 18:

To complete a Full Run of ASM from AF 15 to ASM 1-498 (200 below will be low grade)those over 200 will be Mid High Grade to HG

If this happens before I turn 18, then my new goal will be to get all my

HG copies of ASM and send them to CGC for grading, (Including 500-now)

And then I will start buying HG CGC copies of ASM's for upgrading.

 

After I am 18:

Start work on a HG Batman Run.

 

And while in between, I hope to get a full run of Wolverine V 2.

Maybe work on X-Men. BUt all in due time. smile.gif

My goals for 2006 are:

1. Convert the "comic room" into a nursery for the baby expected in November cloud9.gif

2. Sell off a couple long boxes of high-grade modern duplicates that I have managed to accumulate over the years (Wolverine in particular)

3. Make some progress on my uber-run of X-Men 94-143
