So out of curiousity I was watching this Superman Daily Original Art 01-13-54 that Diamond was selling and the auction ended at $1,781.

 

My question to those who know better than I. Was this a surprisingly strong price?

 

I know nothing about the strip market, but a comic shop local to me sold a Boring SUPERMAN strip for $3K in the last year.
