Super piece....Heritage had it for about 6 months during 2005...they must have bought it from them...or they were the original owner and heritage never sold it.

Yup, I vaguely remember this piece in their hands. I can't remember... was it in an auction, or for sale directly?

I want to say it went both ways...first in auction and then when it did not hit reserve it was for sale for $19K I think.

Every so often Frazetta wanted to prove that he still had IT. And man, he sure did with the pencil drawings in the ILLUSTRATIONS ARCANUM book. Some of his best, in my opinion. I don't have the book in front of me, but I believe he drew these around 1993, about the same time he did a couple of covers for Verotik. I recently saw a copy of that book (2nd printing) sell for $120 on ebay. It must of had a low print run.
